About Us
The Basics...
Talbot Community Church is a "Jesus First" family, made up of people who intentionally pursue relationship with Jesus Christ, and the life of transformation produced by passionately following Him.
Sunday Gathering...
We typically begin our service @ 10AM and conclude by 11:30. You'll want to bring your bible as we rely heavily on the use of scripture. Communion is available at every service and is encouraged but not required. A nursery is also available for the little ones. Our focus, on Sunday as well as every other day, is Jesus. We diligently try to keep the Sunday gathering free from discussions of Politics, Sports, Entertainment, or anything that might otherwise distract us from growing closer to Jesus. We sincerely hope that you'll join us.
Discipleship Group...
We want to be faithful to Jesus by being obedient to His teaching, and teaching others to follow Him as well. We meet together to discuss the Way of Jesus, and how to follow Him. We realize that talking about following Jesus is not the same as actually following Him. This gathering is to help us follow Him, not a substitute for following Him.

About being "Jesus First"...
When you read "Jesus First," you may wonder just what that means, and that's understandable. Jesus First is our way of communicating that Talbot Community Church is committed to pursuing the Way of Jesus, for the Glory of Jesus. It means that when we gather in His name, We are gathered: under His authority, for His purpose, and in His service. It's all about Jesus. Being Jesus First means that we aren't driven by trends, popular opinion, or growth strategies. Being Jesus First means that we are driven to live lives of joyful obedience to Jesus, as He leads us to Love like Him, Serve like Him, and be Transformed by Him. We take Jesus at His word, believing that a relationship with Him is the key to a flourishing life.
